Industrial manufacturing and distribution veteran brings decades of experience to diesel aftermarket leader.
HUMBLE, TX, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — M&D, a leading distributor and remanufacturer of Tier 1 diesel engine parts and components, announced Tom Rizzi as its chief executive officer effective Jan. 1. M&D serves the diesel aftermarket from nearly 50 branch locations across 20 states, Mexico and Canada.

Rizzi brings decades of executive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing and distribution companies to this new role. Prior to M&D, Rizzi was CEO of OTR Engineered Solutions, a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of tires, wheels and tracks for off-road applications.
He additionally led GHSP as president and CEO, guiding the Tier 1 supplier of electronic controls and smart pumps to numerous passenger car OEMs. Rizzi also held CEO and executive roles at The Heico Companies, Barnes Group Inc. and Gerber Scientific Inc.
Rizzi holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Newport University. He currently serves on the boards of Spectrum Industries and a variety of nonprofit organizations.
Rizzi kicks off his new position with M&D at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2026, the largest North American gathering of heavy-duty aftermarket professionals. M&D is exhibiting a 2,000-square-foot booth, featuring 90-plus engine parts and components, including fuel injectors, turbochargers, inframe kits and cylinder heads.
